December in London

Hi guys!

So December in London is finally upon us, can you believe it?! I’ve been here exactly 6 months now! I find that crazy, in some ways, it feels like I’ve been away from home for so long, but in other ways it feels like I’ve just got here!

What have I got planned this December? Here’s my breakdown:

  • Winter Wonderland – 17th December

I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am for Winter Wonderland. I am actually fizzing. I went earlier this year in January when I was in London last time, but apparently this year is even bigger and better which makes me CRAZY. Carnivals are one of my favourite things, and a massive one, in winter time, in Hyde Park, in London?! Now that’s a carnival I NEED to attend! Can’t wait.

  • End of University Semester – 18th December

Wow, the end of uni already?! It feels like last week I was just beginning. All the farewell get togethers are happening now and it’s a bittersweet feeling. While I am happy there are no more classes, no more early starts and dying for a green tea during class, I have to say I’m going to miss London Met. Thanks for the memories!

  • Christmas Eve – 24th December

Okay, obviously. I love Christmas time, Christmas Eve just has that special feeling to it yknow? If you don’t know, well…

  • Christmas Day – 25th December

IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR! As if I am not already playing enough Christmas music every single day this December, there is something beautiful about Christmas music on the day of all days. I’m definitely going to miss my family for Christmas this year, but I am extremely grateful they are still in New Zealand happy and well and I can’t wait to Skype them on Christmas Day!

So there’s a few things I’m excited about in December! Anyone else have their exciting December faves? Share with me in the comments!

  1. Hi Amber,
I’m visiting your blog from the Massey Uni Student Exchange site. I’m thinking of studying at London Met next year and would love to hear any tips and insights that you might have. 🙂 Would this be something you’d be willing to chat about?

Look forward to hearing from you! Hope you had a lovely Christmas,

    Esther
